About the blog
This blog will be a look at the spheres of archaeology and gaming, and how they interact. There has been a great deal of research in this area already, which is not surprising, given most young people’s introduction to archaeology is probably through a Lara Croft game.
Archaeology and gaming mesh together well, and the following ideas will be discussed here:
- Misconceptions of archaeology from gaming.
- How games can be used to educate about the past.
- Archaeology within game universes.
- The use of gaming for reconstructions.
